Alex Sauter is an Advisor to Carve Capital Partners, which he co-founded with Mike McGill in 2024. He currently serves as a Director of Corporate Development for a global medical technology company, and prior to working with Carve was a senior investment banker at TD Securities and Cowen & Company. Earlier in his career he was a Principal with MHT Partners, where he co-led healthcare services advisory and founded the first middle-market M&A practice focused on social impact advisory. He also has experience with United Technologies Corporation (now RTX Corporation) and World Kinect Corporation. Alex earned an MBA from the Yale School of Management and graduated from the University of Connecticut with a BA in Economics and Political Science.

Alex is an avid trail and mountain runner, cyclist, skier, and yogi. He also enjoys swimming, golf, backpacking, and all things outdoors.
